  1. Open your Gmail inbox in your browser. Click on the settings gear which will be on the top right side of the screen.
  2. Click on General.
  3. Select your Gmail account under “signature”.
  4. Now enter the signature you want in the field below.
  5. It is advisable to keep your signature below 5 lines.
  6. Please make sure that you don’t include signature delimiter while entering your signature. Gmail will automatically add it automatically to your signature.
  7. In case if you want to use an image, use the formatting bar.
  8. If you fail to see the formatting bar, compose a new message using rich text formatting.
  9. After you are done with entering the signature, click on save changes.

Setup Signature in Gmail Using Mobile:

Here I will explain on how to setup signature for mobile use in Gmail

  1. Open Gmail app on your mobile.
  2. Click on the menu icon which will be on the top left of the screen.
  3. Now scroll to the bottom and click on settings.
  4. Tap on the signature settings if you are using ios and signature if you are using android.
  5. If you are using iOS, tap the signature to the enabled position. If you are an android user, you can skip this step.
  6. Now enter your signature in the text box.
  7. If you are using an iOS device, click on the back arrow to save changes and if you are using Android, click ok.

Using signature from the mobile website:

If you had configured signature for the Gmail desktop version, then the same will be applied to Gmail mobile version. If the signature on the desktop version is not enabled, then the mobile signature will only work if follow the below steps.

  1. Open Gmail on your smartphone.
  2. Click on the menu icon which will be on the top left side of the screen.
  3. Click on the mobile signature option inorder to enable it.
  4. Now you need to enter the signature in the box.
  5. Click on Apply to save the changes.
  6. Now every time you send a mail from the Gmail mobile website, the signature will be added.

  • open the web browser on your computer/laptop.
  • Once it is open, type “” in search box and click enter.

Delete all mail from inbox tab

  • Once it is open, navigate to “promotions” tab.

  • This will select all mails now click on “select all conversations in promotions”.

Deleting mail from your unwanted sender automatically

  • Once it is open, click on “more” at top left.
  • Now, click on filter messages like these.
  • click on filter with this search.
  • Then check the “delete” option located at the middle left of your screen.
  • After this, click on “Create filter”.
  • Now, any mail from your selected sender will be deleted automatically.

Deleting mail from a specific sender

  • Click on the search bar at the top of your Gmail inbox.
  • Type senders name.
  • Now, click on the search icon at top right adjacent to search bar.
  • Select all mails you want to get deleted.
  • Click on “delete” located at the top of the mails.
  • Click on the “trash” icon at left, this is a toolbar in Gmail.
  • Now, click on “empty trash now”.
  • Your selected sender’s mails are now deleted.
  • If you don’t select empty the trash now, the deleted mails will stay there for 30 days after that they will get deleted automatically.

Delete mail older than a specific date

  • Click on the search bar at the top of your Gmail inbox.
  • Type “in:inbox before:YY/MM/DD”.
  • Click on select all checkbox at below the search bar.
  • Then, click on “select all the conversations that match the search” at top of your inbox.
  • Now, click on “delete” located at the top of the mails.
  • All the mails before your selected date will be moved to trash.
  • From trash they will get deleted automatically after 30 days.

With these easy steps you will be able to easily delete mail from your Gmail account. Some of the browser don’t show default search engine as Google.
